Finished: MAME/NeoGeo/Sega cabinet

Well the operation was a success!
I installed a PC inside my old cabinet, used a small chinese contraption to convert VGA to S video, looks nearly identical to the real thing! Much better than the native graphic card svideo output (too "PC looking"). The original must be a little blurry and shitty :-)

Shown games: Cruis'n, Numan Athletics, Street FighterII.

Sega Model 1 twin cabinet finished

So finally the second video converter arrived so I was able to finish my Model 1 cabinet! Upper screen is in live mode, with commentary and unplayable, lower is for player 1, playable through the adapted N64/PS steering wheel.
When I got these boards - the guts of a decommissioned Twin cabinet, I contacted a few experts to help me with a simple display to showcase the self-playing demo, or whatever. I never thought I will be able to build a working, playable, linked system! Communication boards were a lgift from a friend who sold me the guts in the first place. These were non working at that time, but after exchanging of dead Z80 processor, the two boards started to communicate (through an optical cable! We're talking year 1992!).
Powered through a single 300W PC PSU. Opened to showcase the boards.
Very happy to show you this beauty!

A working Dreamcast

Yes I had a dreamcast earlier, but it had damaged graphic chip, so it had no video output. Sound and drive was ok. This happens when you pull the power cord like crazy without turning the power off, or it may have been caused by lightning or whatever.
Anyway got a new one, working like a charm, now to get some games!

Rocman X ...or is it ?!

What the hell have I just bought?
Ok ok, I found the answer, instead of the famous Rocman X, according to bootleggameswiki I bought  " Luo Ke Ren X (洛克人X - Rockman X) - A title screen hack of Sugoro Quest".
Well, I'm not happy at all!

Shock!

This is a cart which came as a surprise gift with aaronix console, has some standards and one special - a chinese game called Shock! ((Ling Jie Hu Fa 灵界护法 - A game with Contra sound effects - http://bootleggames.wikia.com) After an intriguing intro comes a shock when you find out about the gameplay ;-)

Shipment of Famiclone not only yellow carts

Here are my last aquisitions of famiclone games, in 90% the shown pictures are NOT what is on those carts really. This is completely normal, but also is making me hate these yellow devils.
I have a russian language Prince of persia! That's nice. Also that weird Zombies and plants ..or whatever. Don't know how to play it anyway.

Another "Sega"

This is the reason why everybody in Slovakia calls famiclones "Sega".
Another "nikita" famiclone, very poorly made, totally globtop, minimalistic PCBs, and this one is RF only! This is too much!
Anyway must have made some kid very happy because it is Really heavily used! Check the slot!

Final Fantasy from Thailand

This new piece is a very nice thailandese bootleg of Final Fantasy, well not really thailandese cause it has chinese markings, but it came from Thailand. Anyway has two battery slots.

This one came from the north Slovakia! Thanks to Vojto, this wireless beauty with unique 700in1 sticker carelessly placed on top is in my collection! I will be disassembling it later, photos will emerge!

Ahh yes, the secret in the car trunk...well it was the complete guts of a Twin Virtua Racing cabinet!!!
Built inside a custom cabi-warderobe to show both players but just single player controllable.
Upper monitor is Live commentator Virt McPolygon!
Unbelievable those boards communicate through optical Toslink cable! 1992 my ass!
